HTML specification model followed for transient user activation more closely

According to Firefox, this makes pop-up blogging less strict in cases where the previous versions of the browser was overly aggressive.

A refreshed New Tab page layout for users in USA and Canada

As I live in Germany, I cannot test the new layout, so I don’t have much information regarding it. Mozilla expands its search engine partnership with Ecosia

Ecosia is a search engine that promises to use 100% of the profits for climate action, most of the money going towards tree-planting projects.

Ecosia in Firefox 134 now supports all languages in the German region (not just German), along with Austria, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Bug fixes:

An issue affecting drag-and-drop of files on to Gmail in KDE has been fixed, some debugging capabilities have been added and progress has been made regarding Firefox’s upcoming profile manager.

As the release notes are not yet ready, there isn’t other information regarding this release available.

As I don’t have friends in high places, I don’t have access to any inside info, but I selected some information from 9to5linux and omgubuntu.
